Pennies and Butterflies...

This past week Dana, her kids, and I traveled to Colorado for my Sweet Auntie Rita's funeral. We saw some sights along the way, the kids were fabulous little travelers, and we just had a good time. We stayed at my Uncle Bill's house. He was kind enough to let us stay in his beautiful motor home that he has parked in his driveway. We visited with cousins we haven't seen in ages. Tiffany encouraged us to play a game of Telephone, way fun! Dana taught us another circle game that had us all laughing way too hard. We barbecued and had lots of good food. Tuesday was a beautiful, warm day. We went to the funeral, it was a very nice service! Just as Auntie Rita was being put into the coach, Uncle Bill and I saw this beautiful yellow butterfly, flutter by between the Hearst and us....I found this poem today:
Don't weep at my grave,
For I am not there,
I've a date with a butterfly
To dance in the air.
I'll be singing in the sunshine,
Wild and free,
Playing tag with the wind,
While I'm waiting for thee.
