I have some
sweet grand kids. I made them.....
Braeden,
Kelsea, and
Kenzi a super cape, because they are
Super Kids! Kelsea wore hers most of the day at the boy's birthday party.
Braeden was just too busy playing with his friends to notice I had brought them. I just finished
Kenzi's. This is what they look like.
The girls both LOVE mermaids, so their capes have them on it.
Braeden's cape is blue and all boy. I am anxious to have them all
together with capes on, so I can take pictures of them.

I can't wait to see what they look like on! Super cute!
Kenzi will be so excited to get hers! Such lucky super kids they are to have you for a nana!
How did you make them? Are they attached to the shirt?
Search "Skip to my lou" for the monogram idea if you want to add that. As for the cape part, I just took a piece of fabric that would be size suitable for the child. I ran a seam all around. Then at the top I used a piece of elastic. I measured from shoulder to shoulder for the size of the elastic. When the elastic was sewn in I cut pieces of velcro the same width as the shoulder seam, then sewed the "soft side to the shoulder seam ( that way if they are not using the cape, it doesn't scratch and the shirt can still be used). Also, there is no worry of the cape being a choke hazzard!
