The calendar says today is the first day of fall. Today really feels like fall has arrived. I love all the earthy colors, the warm days and cool nights.

After summer, I am ready for the shorter days. I enjoy cooking this time of year, more than any other season. Since today was a cloudy cool day we had good old home style meal. Tri tip roast, bakes potatoes, and vegetable medley! What did I bake to get the house smelling like fall?

I know what you mean, yesterday was rainy all day, and I was so excited to have the "fall" weather and we are in the 80's for the next week!
