Tom is talking about my mom today.
He shared his dream with me.
He smiled and said....
we are just looking at each other,
smiling.
She is beautiful,
as always.
We are on a beach,
in Hawaii......
...and I said,
maybe that is what Heaven looks like
as a tear slowly rolled down his cheek,
and he drifted back into his own little world.

I shared my mom's last few days with a friend yesterday. Her FIL is suffering from something very similar to ALS and as I was recounting mom's final days, I thought about you and Tom.
I'm glad that you can those special moments with him during the hard nights.
I bet she is waiting for him...and I bet she looks beautiful.
What a special moment! My mom told me about the light and I'll never forget all my life how she mouthed "it looks so beautiful". I am sure he saw a piece of heaven!! Hugs to you!
