"Look at that really tall and skinny one, get that one too" 
We started out our day with visiting one of Diana's friends that has a Cricut, we needed to borrow it for a few craft ideas. Then we were off to Hobby Lobby, I had never been in one. I'm so glad we don't have them in sunny CA. I would be in there all the time! We all went to play Laser Tag! 
WOW, what a kick in the pants! So, so fun!After we picked up a few pizza's at Costco, where we saw palm trees up close and personal.
This Yucca poked both Chris and Tiffany. I don't think they knew just how sharp the leaves were... they know now!
I'm not sure if anyone saw THIS old lady lying down, on the blacktop, in a Costco parking lot, just to try to get a feel of how tall this tree was. The night sky swallowed up the top on the tree. After pizza we had time for playing games,
Cindy was playing with Gracie and Sienna,
......and then the four of us, Cindy, Sandie, Diana, and I had time to do what we do best....FARMVILLE! What a sight, all of us sitting around the family room with our laptops on, playing Farmville! 
Friday morning was time for everyone to travel back to where we came from.
Load 'em up. Plenty of munchies, snacks, or travelers. Everyone has a different name for them.
This car is going to Colorado. Chris let it be known that he was "A sexy BEAST!" He is also my newest BMF (best male cousin friend), and Tiffany is my newest BFF, (best female cousin friend). I guess we should have added a "C" to the mix.

OH cousins! You really need to participate if we do this again! You all are so lucky to have so many sisters! I only wish I had them. Diana suggested we do a women's retreat, maybe she will plan the next get together!Until then...ta ta for now

I was invited to tag along. Kelsea's field trip to the fire station included parents and siblings. Kevin could not make it, so I got to slip in and go. The firemen were very nice and took the kids(and parents) on a little tour through the fire house. Then we all gathered out in the garage for a little lesson on what to do in case of a fire. 
The kids were shown what fire detectors looked like. They also heard what an alarm sounds like so that if they ever hear it in their home they know what it is, and more important, what to do. The tips they learned were that they should always crawl out of the house, below the smoke. That they can exit through any door or window. They were told that they should meet in the front yard by their parents car, or, by their mailbox. The fireman got dresses in all his fire gear and explained what every piece of gear did to help protect him from fire. He also told the kids that he wanted them to see just what a firefighter looked like so that if they were ever to see them, they would not be frightened. They talked about STOP, DROP, and ROLL too. Next he showed them some of the tools they use like the fire axe and the heart monitor, even hooking it up to one of Kelsea's classmates. The last thing he talked about was the trucks. He told the names of them all by their size. The smallest truck that looks like a rescue/paramedic truck is called a Brush Truck . The next in size usually has a ladder on top is called a Fire Truck . Then the next size is a Fire Engine and the last has the really big ladder and is called the Hook and Ladder. They ended the lesson by pulling the truck out of the garage, turning on the emergency lights, and sounding the sirens! What a nice and informative field trip that was!
The kids were given hats, coloring books, and sticker badges too.
The truck is making the loop back to his home in the garage.
